PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - FEBRUARY 2026
Hi Everyone!
Welcome to February! Brrrr it’s cold out there⛄️
Big thank you Thelma and Louise aka Patricia and Margaret on their programs about Aquariums of Vancouver and Spain. Amazing!
This month we had a very nice offer from Dave Simek to do a program on - Unlocking Creativity: 3D Printing Custom Aquarium Accessories. Certainly can’t refuse an offer like that! Yes, if you have a suggestion for a talk please let us know. We are booking into next fall.
Our Spring Show and Auction are quickly coming up on Sat March 28 at the Waterdown Legion. We are looking for volunteers. Helping to set up, tear down, kitchen help, runners, chit writers, moving bags from table to table! Many hands make light work. I can sign your child’s volunteer hours form if they’d like their hours. We are also looking for sponsors for our 30 class show. Each class costs only $35. The Best of Classes cost $50.
The Jar Show this month is Barbs and Any Other Variety. 50/50, members and guest draws and our mini auction.
